How long does a transfer take?
Most complete in 5–7 days. The registries control the clock, so it varies. Track progress from your dashboard.
Will my site go down?
Transferring registration and moving DNS are separate. Keep your existing DNS service working during the transfer. If you later switch nameservers, copy and verify every record first, including email records.
What does it cost?
Transfer pricing varies by extension — check your domain above for the exact transfer fee. Any expiry change is determined by the registry.
My domain expires soon — can I still transfer?
Eligibility depends on the extension, status, and registrar locks. Start well before expiry; a recent registration, transfer, or registrant change can prevent a transfer. If time is short, confirm renewal and transfer eligibility with your current registrar first.
