// foundation/cli

The whole platform, from your terminal.

The platform in your terminal

The CLI (command-line tool) installs with npm install -g ./setcloud-cli-0.2.0.tgz and gives you deploys, logs, scaling, environment variables, DNS, secrets, and billing — the same platform the dashboard drives, run from the terminal.

// 01 — ship

Deploy and operate.

The deploy loop never leaves your prompt: build and ship, tail the logs, set an env var, scale up for the launch, roll back when the launch finds the bug.

  • + setcloud deploy builds and ships the current directory
  • + Rollback, scale, logs --follow, and env management
setcloud deploy [name] # build and ship
setcloud rollback <name> # previous revision
setcloud scale <name> --count 3
setcloud logs <name> --follow
setcloud env set <name> KEY=VALUE

// 02 — everything else

The rest of the platform, too.

Services, domains, DNS records, secret values and versions, prepaid balance, usage, support tickets — almost anything the dashboard does, the CLI does in a single line.

  • + Services, domains, and DNS management
  • + Secrets management — value updates, versions, tags, and project links
  • + Billing balance and transactions; usage through the JSON API
  • + Support tickets without leaving the terminal
setcloud services list|create|info|delete
setcloud domains list|info
setcloud dns add <domain> A www 203.0.113.7
setcloud secrets create|get|update|versions
setcloud billing balance|transactions
setcloud tokens create --name ci

// 03 — automation

Built for your scripts as much as you.

People log in through the browser; automated build pipelines authenticate with API tokens you create and revoke using setcloud tokens. The api and api-routes commands return JSON for automation, and secrets commands also support --json. Set SETCLOUD_TOKEN for unattended use.

  • + Browser-based login for people
  • + API tokens for automation — create, list, revoke
  • + JSON API requests and route discovery for scripts and AI agents
