Observability quickstart

Logs, metrics, and answers. Everything you deploy is observable without an agent to install.

Prerequisites

• A running service — see the compute or deployments quickstart.

1. Open your project

For repository-backed deployments, open Projects → your project → Observability in the dashboard. Standalone services created with setcloud services create are under Compute; open a service for its status, logs, and metrics. These are also available through the CLI and API.

2. Read your logs

Use the project’s Logs tab, or the CLI for a container service:

setcloud logs my-api --follow

3. Check your metrics

Review the metrics available for this deployment type. Static delivery metrics are in CDN; AI requests and token costs are in AI Gateway. These views have different refresh intervals.

4. Watch a deploy live

Build and rollout logs stream into the project view while a deployment runs — no refresh, no digging.
