Domains & DNS quickstart

Register, route, done. Search, buy, and manage DNS without leaving the platform.

Prerequisites

• A SetCloud account. Checkout takes a card — or your credit balance when it covers the total.

1. Search

Start at domain search. Prices are live, per extension.

2. Check out

Add the domain to your cart and check out. You’ll sign in if you aren’t already. Auto-renew keeps it yours without a calendar reminder.

3. Route DNS

Manage records from Domains in the dashboard — A, CNAME, MX, TXT — or from the terminal:

setcloud dns add example.com A www 203.0.113.10 --ttl 300
setcloud dns list example.com

4. Attach it to an app

Pick the domain (or a subdomain of it) in the deploy wizard and your app serves on it with HTTPS. See the deployments quickstart.

Transfers

Already own the domain elsewhere? Start at domain transfer, or point an external domain at the nameservers shown during deploy.
